Designing
We think about craft...
Preservation, working with ancestral craft techniques by incorporating them into our modern designs with each collection focusing on a certain practice. Our Illuah concept is to design for longevity by creating timeless, quality pieces.

Sourcing
We source our fabrics purely
From one trusted supplier where we choose to focus on a particular fibre per collection. Farming and producing in Italy, our fabrics are guaranteed to be completely sustainable start to finish. When choosing fabrics, we aim to work with stock fabrics or make production only after the pieces have been bought.

Production
Illuah is produced in the south of Italy
Creating and collaborating with artisans who appreciate and work within the guidelines of sustainability and quality. Illuah is slow fashion, we produce only what has been ordered and do not carry any stock. Upon request we offer bespoke tailoring along with an alteration service for our customers.

Shipment
We’re constantly looking for better solutions
Working towards fully eliminating fuels for shipment through working with green couriers in available locations otherwise we use DHL. We decided to ship with DHL as they have a commitment to eliminate emissions by 2025 and are working towards zero emissions.

The Materials
We consider the life of the garment
And its ability to break down once it is disposed. Our collections consist of many different natural fibres, listed below are some of the main types we use. Our yarns can be made from linen, hemp, apple and pineapple, aloe Vera, green tea and more.

Illuah Concept
Illuah isn’t about consumerism
It’s about creating a lifestyle where consumers become customers and inspire to live in a more beneficial way. Every collection we produce is minimal in the sense of design, fabric and imagery.
