LIKE-MINDED COLLABORATION
We prioritise the creation and collaboration with artisans who share our values of sustainability and quality. Embracing the concept of slow fashion, our production process involves pre-ordering and small runs.

FROM PACKING TO DELIVERY
We use various eco-friendly practices throughout our operations. For instance, we utilise a thermal printer for labels, ensuring minimal waste. Our packaging materials, including tape and clothing sleeves, are compostable.

The Materials
We consider the life of the garment
And its ability to break down once it is disposed. Our collections consist of many different natural fibres, listed below are some of the main types we use. Our yarns can be made from linen, hemp, cotton, wool, alpaca and more.

Illuah Concept
Illuah isn’t about consumerism
It’s about creating a lifestyle where consumers become customers and inspire to live in a more beneficial way. Every collection we produce is minimal in the sense of design, fabric and imagery.
Illuah Concept

We break away from the traditional fashion calendar, offering season-less collections that defy trends and novelty. Instead, we provide evergreen pieces throughout the year, with limited edition collaborations.

When it comes to shipping, we primarily rely on UPS and DHL, both of which share our dedication to eliminating emissions. Additionally, these couriers offer the option to plant trees, effectively offsetting the CO2 impact of our shipments.

If we do use coloured fabric, we use vegetable dye or ayurvastra herb dyes which are proven to be healing and used as medicine in India.

We want our customers to change their mindset of needing to constantly change and improve their wardrobe every season but instead to buy pieces they wear forever with standing quality. We’re trying to inspire people to live with less. The minimalism of design is to create timeless collections, pieces that our customers will wear on repeat many years from purchase. The idea is, just like a plain t-shirt, you can keep the same plain t-shirt for years and wear it in different ways. Once it is finally time to throw it away it will easily decompose, leaving no trace.

We alter our designs to be comfortable, practical and multifunctional.

Upcycling, is an approach we take for our limited-edition pieces where we source second hand garments that have potential to be transformed into something new.
